Atlus ist ab sofort offiziell ein 3. Party Publisher für die X-Box 360. Hier in Deutschland kennen die Firma wohl eher die Wenigsten aber Atlus ist verantwortlich für einige sehr gute jRPGs bzw. jTactic-RPGs. In erster Linie haben sie viele, eher wenig bekannte/gehypte, solcher Spiele in den USA veröffentlicht wo die Firma dementsprechend bekannt und beliebt ist.Atlus (Ontamarama, Persona series, Trauma Center, Odin Sphere, Tactics Oger) has just announced that they are now an
official Xbox 360 3rd party publisher, and with this announcement comes some news on two new titles.

Atlus U.S.A., Inc., a leading publisher of interactive entertainment, today announced a partnership to become an officially licensed
3rd party publisher for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. As part of this announcement, it was revealed
that a pair of strategy RPGs, Operation Darkness and Spectral Force 3, would be among the first titles Atlus will release for the Xbox 360
in 2008, demonstrating a strong commitment to the console and to the next generation of gaming.

Die X-Box dürfte damit in den USA ein mehr als ausreichendes jRPG Angebot stellen. Da diese Spiele in den USA doch sehr beliebt sind und die Box ja doch noch mit dem Ruf zu kämpfen hat eine only FPS-Konsole zu sein muss man wohl sagen dass das n schlauer Schritt war. Nu haben sie Mistwalker für die großen Blockbuster Erscheinungen (SE-Style) und einen Publisher für die spezielleren Sachen und damit gibs in den USA wieder nen Grund weniger sich ne PS3 zu kaufen.
Na ja, die meisten (bzw Alle ;P ) Titel werden es aber eh niemals zu uns schaffen…wird meine 2t Konsole wohl ne NTSC-360.
