Wie schon angekündigt habe ich Blacksad durchgespielt, auch wenn es dann doch noch etwas länger gedauert hat, als geplant. Es erinnert am ehesten an "The Wolf Among Us" und hat mir richtig gut gefallen. Man spielt einen Detektiv in den USA nach dem 2. Weltkrieg und muss einen Mord aufklären, wobei man dabei noch einer ganz anderen Sache auf die Spur kommt. Dazu kann man einige Entscheidungen treffen, die sich mal mehr, meist weniger auf das Spiel auswirken. Es handelt sich durchgehend um personifizierte Tiere, daher kann man sein Gegenüber oft genauer durch sein gutes Gehör oder den Geruchssinn (der Hauptcharakter ist eine Katze) untersuchen. Außerdem muss man ähnlich wie in den Sherlock Holmes Spielen Schlussfolgerungen ziehen, indem man verschiedene Beobachtungen kombiniert.
Actioneinlagen in Form von QTEs werden immer wieder eingestreut, sind allerdings alle leicht zu meistern.
Die Geschichte bleibt bis zum Ende spannend und entwickelt sich anders als gedacht, zudem gibt es verschiedene Enden. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Spiel, wenn man auf 3D Point & Click Adventures steht, nur die Steuerung in Kombination mit der Kameraführung geht nicht gut von der Hand.
Dann habe ich noch Another Lost Phone durchgespielt. Es ist ähnlich aufgebaut wie Teil 1, heißt man findet ein Smartphone und versucht durch das Lesen der SMS, Mails usw. rauszufinden, was mit dem Besitzer passiert ist. Die Geschichte fand ich um einiges interessanter als im 1. Teil, viel dazu sagen kann ich allerdings nicht, denn rauszufinden worum es geht, macht den Großteil des Spiels aus. Prinzipbedingt ist das Spielprinzip recht trocken. Dinge, wie Passwörter lassen sich aus den Nachrichten rauslesen und sonst gibt es nicht viel zu tun, aber das Spiel ist auch sehr kurz. Ich habe vielleicht 1 - 1,5h gebraucht. Einen weiteren Teil würde ich mir nicht kaufen, auch wenn die Story hier nicht schlecht war, aber das Spielprinzip ist mir auf Dauer doch zu trocken.
Da ich jetzt Feierabend habe, wird jetzt weitergespielt, also kommt hier heute wahrscheinlich noch ein Spiel dazu. Ggf. update ich aber erst morgen.

Re: "52 Games in 2021" - Challenge
Gestern Abend habe ich noch Cthulhu Saves Christmas durchgespielt. Wie der Vorgänger ist das hier ein kleines RPG Maker Spiel mit viel Humor. Die Grafik sieht diesmal eine Generation moderner aus, also eher gehobenes SNES Niveau, dafür fehlt leider die Oberwelt. Zwischen den Kämpfen kann man nur verschiedene Bereiche der einzigen Stadt erkunden, wobei erkunden auch etwas hochgegriffen ist, denn mehr als einen fest vorgegebenen Dialog pro Bereich gibt es dort nicht zu entdecken. Diese sind aber immerhin witzig und als Belohnung gibt es neue Ausrüstung.
Die Story handelt davon, dass man den Weihnachtsmann retten muss und ist in wenigen Sätzen erzählt. Insgesamt bin ich etwas enttäuscht, denn es sieht zwar besser aus, aber dafür gibt es quasi nichts zu entdecken und insgesamt auch weniger Humor als im Vorgänger. Das Outro, wenn das überhaupt so nennen kann, endet auch sehr abrupt.
Außerdem habe ich noch etwas Townscaper gespielt. Es ist zwar ganz nett, was man für schöne Städte bauen kann, mir fehlt aber die Motivation, um es länger zu spielen. Trotzdem glaube ich, dass man es ähnlich wie Dorfromantik gut nebenbei spielen kann, was ggf. noch das ein oder andere Mal tun werde. Da es ein Endlosspiel ohne Ziel ist, zähle ich es als abgeschlossen.

Habe das Ding schon in vielen Top-Listen gesehen und von einigen Leuten wurde es sogar als Indie-Meilenstein bezeichnet.
Okay.
Die Dialoge sind irgendwie nett geschrieben und die Atmosphäre ist schön chillig. Aber morgen ist der Titel auch wieder vergessen.
Wobei... das wäre gelogen, das Ding ist so was von kurz und spielt sich auch dermaßen effortless, das werde ich sicher nächstes Jahr direkt noch mal für die Challenge auspacken.

Wenn ich schon die Cthulhu-Teile durchspiele, kann ich auch Breath of Death VII durchspielen. Gesagt, getan. Es ist sehr kurz, die Story nicht der Rede wert und auch sonst spielt es sich nur wie ein abgespecktes Cthulhu saves the World. Gekauft hätte ich es mir heute nicht, aber ich hatte es knappe 10 Jahre in meiner Bibliothek und irgendwann musste ich es ja mal spielen.
Das wars auch erstmal. Das nächste Update folgt erst nach Weihnachten. Alles in allem habe ich gut aufgeholt, aber auch noch 5 Spiele bis zu den 52. Abzüglich der Weihnachtstage wird das eng. Ich gehe aber zumindest davon aus noch 3 Spiele zu schaffen.

Das klappt aber auch nur, weil einige kurze Spiele dabei sind. Lacuna habe ich etwa zur Hälfte durch (gefällt mir bisher übrigens sehr gut) und das dauert nur um die 5 Stunden. Von Bright Memory: Infinite habe ich die ersten 30 Minuten gesehen, aber das soll auch nur um die 3 Stunden dauern. Die beiden Spiele schaffe ich also sicher noch und danach mal schauen worauf ich Lust habe

Schwierig! Ich kann das Spiel in meinem "Halo" Ranking einfach nicht so recht einordnen. Fest steht aber, Halo CE, 2 und Reach bleiben für mich das Maß aller Dinge. Infinite betrachte ich zumindest als deutlich besser als Halo 4 und 5. Allein der Mehrspieler rockt einfach die Bude. Die Kampagne ist gut, auch wenn ich die Story noch bisschen sacken lassen muss. Ehrlich gesagt hätte ich ein Remake des Original Halos an gleicher Stelle mehr begrüßt. Auch die Oberwelt des Rings ist ordentlich, liefert richtig schöne Ecken und tolle Gameplay-Momente, aber gerade die künstliche Teilung der Biome mit Hexfeld-Balken, wirkt dann unglaublich künstlich. Da kommt einfach zu keinem Zeitpunkt das gleiche Flair auf, wie damals beim Schweigenden Kartograph auf der Xbox. Trotz allem hat mich Halo Infinite wieder bestens unterhalten. Schon die Musik und der Greifhaken, fügen sich perfekt ins Spiel ein. Was hier binnen eines Jahres hier an Verbesserungen geschehen sind, dafür alleine haben die 343 Entwickler ein großes Lob verdient. Die ganzen Neuerungen, wie dynamische Respawn-Punkte, machen gerade die typischen Gemetzel mit übermächtigen Gegnern angenehmer als in vergangenen Teilen.
Mal schauen. Evtl. ist meine Challenge 2021 damit durch. Habe noch 1-2 Games in Beschlag, die möglicherweise fertig werden, aber wir werden sehen.

Ich bin auch wieder zurück in der Zivilisation und mache direkt weiter mit A New Life aus dem letztjährigen, großen Itch.io Bundle. Es handelt sich um eine sehr kurze Visual Novel und genau das ist auch schon das Problem: Die Geschichte ist viel zu kurz, um eine Bindung zu den Figuren aufzubauen. Man kann zwar einige Entscheidungen treffen, ich bezweifle aber, dass die Entscheidungen große Auswirkungen auf die Geschichte haben. Nach ca. 30 Minuten ist das Spiel auch schon vorbei und nicht empfehlenswert.
Ich habe den restlichen Tag jedenfalls nichts vor und werde ihn z. T. mit Spielen verbringen. Ich bin recht zuversichtlich morgen Abend bei 50 durchgespielten Spielen zu stehen.

Das Jahr ist auch kurz vor der Ziellinie, aber ich habe eben noch Lacuna, ein kleines Point & Click Adventure durchgespielt und komme dem Ziel ein Stück näher Die Story hat mich richtig gut unterhalten. Man versucht in mehr oder weniger ferner Zukunft einen Mord an einem hochrangigen Regierungsbeamten aufzudecken und stößt dabei auf eine noch größere Verschwörung. Man kann sich im Spiel an verschiedenen Stellen immer wieder entscheiden, was durchaus Einfluss auf das Spiel hat und zu 8 unterschiedlichen Enden führen kann. Ich denke, mein Ende ist eines der besten. Items kombinieren muss man hier gar nicht, dafür kriegt man immer wieder Fallakten vorgelegt, bei denen man verschiedene Stellen ausfüllen muss. Hinweise dazu erhält man aus Dialogen, Mails und News. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich auch den Soundtrack, der wirklich gut zum Spiel passt. Mir fällt ein Soundtrack eher selten auf, insofern ist es schon etwas Besonderes, wenn mir die Musik gefällt.
Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Spiel, das zwar recht leicht ist, aber von der Story und den Entscheidungen lebt. Nur hätte ich mir eine etwas detailliertere Grafik gewünscht, trotzdem ist das Spiel gemessen an seiner grafischen Schlichtheit schön anzusehen.
Für die nächsten Tage stehen TOHU, Bright Memory: Infinite und A Short Hike auf dem Plan, für die ich wahrscheinlich je einen Abend brauchen werde. Der Plan kann sich aber auch ändern, je nachdem worauf ich Lust habe. Ich werde wahrscheinlich nicht jeden Abend spielen, insgesamt sollten die 52 Spiele aber klappen Wer hätte das am Anfang des Monats gedacht? Ich nicht, denn am 4. Dezember stand ich erst bei 35 Spielen.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon [PS5] nach 70h die Hauptstory und den Großteil der Nebengeschichten beendet.
Mir fehlen noch die Dragon Kart-Missionen/Rennen und ich könnte noch den "True Millienium Tower"-Dungeon machen, aber für für den Dungeon müsste ich noch ordentlich die Jobklassen leveln...
Auf grinden habe ich erstmal keine Lust, weswegen ich das Spiel für dieses Jahr als beendet zähle.
Platin hole ich vielleicht nächstes Jahr nach.
Reminiscence in the Night [PS4] ist ein kleines Visual Novel-Spielchen um Erinnerungen.
Interessant oder berührend war es nicht. Die deutschen Untertitel sind auch keine Glanzleistung.
Würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen, außer es ist umsonst.
