Bei Steam wird Payday 2 derzeit kostenlos an interessierte Spieler verteilt. Die Aktion läuft bis zum 21. Juni und ist volumenbegrenzt. Die Entwickler (Overkill - a Starbreeze Studio) wollen maximal fünf Millionen Exemplare des Grundspiels unter das Volk bringen. Sobald man das Spiel seiner Steam-Bibliothek hinzugefügt hat, darf man es dauerhaft behalten.

Ich kapier die Aktion auch nicht.
Es hieß noch einen Tag zuvor sowas wie "85% Rabatt auf DLCs, bis sie endgültig entfernt werden". Auch da keine Ahnung, was damit gemeint ist.

Sicher, dass man NUR das Grundspiel kostenlos bekommt?

Ob "nur" das Basisspiel oder auch dlc´s, ich habe keine Ahnung.
Aber alles was kostenlos ist nehme ich gerne mit.

Da kommt demnächst ( ich vermute mal am 21.) ne Ultimate Edition mit allen DLCs für 45 Euronen raus. Einzeln kannste die Dinger nich mehr kaufen, aber je nachdem wie viele DLCs du bereits besitzt, kriegste die UE vergünstigt

So I’m not going to be able to pick what DLC I want?
No. You can pick and buy whatever DLC you want at 85% off from May 8th to June 8th. After that any DLC that was previously available for purchase can be acquired by upgrading or buying the PAYDAY 2: Ultimate Edition.

Do I have to buy all DLC I don’t have to get free content updates in the future?
No. You don’t have to upgrade to the Ultimate Edition, but you still will get new free content.

Are you not supporting PAYDAY 2 anymore - is this the end of PAYDAY 2?
No it’s not, we’ve actually decided to support PAYDAY 2 even longer than originally planned. Previously we announced that we were going to stop at the end of 2017. But now we’ve extended development until October 2018.
