Sony Computer Entertainment has determined Europe a high-priority territory in the next gen sales race and will ensure the PS4 launch is not delayed into 2014, CVG has learned.
It remains unclear whether there will be a PS4 supply shortage that would affect its output across any of the main three markets, but CVG understands that, if the launch stock is tight, the US and Europe will be the priority over the perceivably "safe" region of Japan.
Klingt irgendwie plausibel und passt ja auch zu den Aussagen von Yoshida, dass der europäische Markt sehr wichtig sei.
Wird ja auch langsam mal Zeit...
Ich habe mehrmals gelesen, das wir Europäer, Sony in der PS3 Gen denn Hintern gerettet haben.
Das würde mich auch nicht wundern, wenn ich bedenke wie viel Kohle ich alleine für mich und für Verwandte in die PS3 gesteckt habe.
Dafür könnte man sich einen neuen Kleinwagen kaufen.
Ich bin mal gespannt was Yamauchi morgen zu einer möglichen PS4 Version sagen wird. Es gab zwar schon zahlreiche Gerüchte dass es nur für die PS3 kommt, aber zumindest zu der weiteren Entwicklung von GT auf der PS4 wird er sicherlich Stellung nehmen (oder auf die E3 verweisen).

Die Umsetzung dürfte aber noch ein Weilchen auf sich warten lassen: "I thought the best scenario would be to have the game come out, then to have new scenarios, new DLC and other updates. Once the players have thoroughly played out the system, if the PlayStation 4 version came out naturally, as part of that process, I think that would be the best scenario."
Es sei immerhin "wahrscheinlich", dass der Nutzer seinen Spielfortschritt von der PS3- in die PS4-Version übertragen können wird.

The acceleration of development with GT6 has a lot to do with Polyphony being more familiar with PS3′s architecture this time out, and where as there was a larger gap between the release of Gran Turismo 4 on PS2 and Gran Turismo 5 on PS3, that won’t be the case with GT6, says Ryan.
“That was obviously a generational jump where as GT5 and GT6 are created on the same platform,” he said. “It’s fairly known that PS3 wasn’t the easiest platform at the start of its life for a developer to get their teeth into, so the hiatus between GT4 and GT5 was perhaps longer than we would normally wish. There won’t be a similar gap with PS4 though.
