http://andriasang.com/con027/dwvs_crossover/Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive's Ryu Hayabusa and Ayane appeared as crossover characters in Musou Orochi 2. But their stay in Musou Land isn't over yet! Famitsu reveals this week that the two characters will also appear as collaborative characters in Dynasty Warriors VS., the delayed 3DS Dynasty Warriors game that's now due for release on April 26.
They're not the only crossover characters, though. The game will also see appearances by Sengoku heroes Sanada Yukimura, Ishida Mitsunari and Naoe Kanetsugu.
You may recall that Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata said during a previous Nintendo Direct broadcast that Dynasty Warriors VS would also have cameos from Nintendo franchises. It's unclear if this is what Iwata was referring to, but Famitsu does reveal that the game will have Mii support. Your Miis will come in as support characters when you're in a pinch.
Famitsu also has a look at the game's edit mode, which lets you modify name, gender, face, body type, armor, motion, voice and Musou skill.
More related to the Ayane crossover, Famitsu reveals that the game's first print run will include a download code for a volleyball uniform. The code also gives you a judo outfit.
http://andriasang.com/con02h/game_gear_3ds/We're going to have to wait until March 14 to play Game Gear classics on 3DS, but today Sega provided a glimpse of what the experience will look like.
The screen shows the various options you can access when playing Game Gear titles: screen mode, system color, ghosting/after image, performance. The system color menu shows options for black, blue, yellow and red.
As detailed yesterday, Sonic & Tales 2, The GG Shinobi and Dragon Crystal will be released on March 14, priced ¥300 each. Sega also said today that Sonic Drift 2 and Columns will be released at some point.
Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos developer Monolith Soft is seeking staff for a 3DS project. The studio has opened a recruitment page seeking staff to work on the project out of its newly formed Kyoto studio.
Positions include effect designers, motion designers and 3DCG designers. The 3DCG designers will work on character modeling and 3D map modeling. The effect designers will work on effects for map and battle scenes. The motion designers will work on motion for things like monsters and characters.
This is the second time in the past year that we're hearing about job solicitation from Monolith Soft. The studio previously posted a listing for a Wii U project. The Wii U project is based out of Monolith's main Tokyo office.
Monolith Soft, a Nintendo subsidiary, is known for such franchises as Xenosaga and Baten Kaitos. Most recently, they developed Xenoblade for Wii and also contributed to Zelda Skyward Sword. Further back, they worked on Disaster Day of Crisis for Nintendo.
The studio also does work for 3rd party publishers. Examples include Dragon Ball Kai and Super Robot Taisen OG Saga, both for Namco Bandai.
Was sie nicht sagen...The 3DCG designers will work on character modeling and 3D map modeling. The effect designers will work on effects for map and battle scenes. The motion designers will work on motion for things like monsters and characters

Square Enix announced a while back that its 3DS RPG that's still named Bravely Default Flying Fairy would be getting a second demo at some point. Today, we have a few details via Jump (and early Jump getters, Tales Source).
The demo is titled Demo + AR Vol.1 - Crystal Maiden Volume. The AR part of the titel is presumably a reference to an AR component similar to that of the first demo. The "Crystal Maiden" of the title is a 17-year-old girl named Anies. She controls the "Wind Crystal" and sets off on a journey, lead by the Crystal Spirits.
Jump does not list a release date for the demo, but the fact that they're mentioning is probably a hint that we won't have to wait too long. Expect to hear something next week, after the latest Jump hits shops.
