Wahrscheinlich erscheint dann auch die neue Firmware, womit man dann PS2-Spiele abspielen kann...

Kommt die FW dann auch direkt zu uns oder müssen wir warten bis die Slim zu uns kommt ?

Und falls ich dann echt PS2 Games auf meiner Aufgemotzten 40Gig PS3 Spielen kann gibts irgend eine Möglichkeit meine PS2 Spielstände von der Memory Card auf die PS3 zu holen ?
Hab einen FFX Spielstand mit ca 200 Spielstunden den ich gern behalten möchte.
(PS2 zickt und hab keine Lust mir nur dafür eine neue zu kaufen)

Meiner 2er bleibt in Letzter Zeit Öfters hängen oder Startet die Spiele nicht mehr

Playstation Firmware Update 3.0

“What’s New” – The “Information Board” will be replaced with a “What’s New” section, which allows you to enjoy interactive PlayStation news every time you start the PS3 system. Located under the PlayStation Network icon, “What’s New” displays the latest and greatest game, video, PlayStation Network and PlayStation news and releases, as well as your recently played games, in a sleek, new animated format.

Status Indicator – In the top right corner we’ve added an indicator bar, which displays your user icon, friend icon, the number of friends you have online and a small message icon to let you know if you have any new messages. The indicator also includes a scrolling ticker that features the latest news from PlayStation Network. In addition, when you press the PS button, the battery life indicator will no longer cover up the clock.

Friends List – Now your PlayStation Network friends will appear in a slightly redesigned format on your Friends List. Also, messages will now be viewable from each of your friends’ respective profiles.

PlayStation Store Shortcuts – We’ve added a handy shortcut icon to the PlayStation Store under both the Game and Video categories so you can access the latest content quickly and easily.

Personalization – Personalize your PS3 with new dynamic custom themes and avatars. Dynamic themes as well as free and premium avatars will be available through PlayStation Store. A dynamic theme takes your screen to a whole new level as it incorporates animated objects into the background.

Trophies – Showcasing your hard earned trophies just got better. Update 3.00 gives game developers the ability to modify how they display trophies for add-on content. Base and add-on game trophies will continue to be combined into a single list so you can see where you stand in a game as a whole. Within that list, trophies will be broken out into subcategories—base trophies and add-on trophies—that way, you can easily view the percentage of your base game trophy collection, and separately track your trophy progress in add-on packs. Look for this enhancement to be included in upcoming games.

hier mal auf deutsch für Leute die des englischen nicht so mächtig sind:

Schon im Vorfeld gab es Hinweise auf die PS3 Firmware 3.0 die Eric Lempel, Director of PlayStation Network nun auf dem offiziellen PlayStation Blog vorstellt.

Mit der Firmware 3.0 soll vor allem die Navigation durch die XMB optimiert werden, sodass es nun noch leichter und intuitiver sein wird diese zu bedienen.

Was ist neu?

Das Information Board wird ersetzt durch eine “What´s New” Sektion die es erlaubt interaktive PlayStation News zu erhalten wenn die PS3 gestartet wird. “What´s New” zeigt die letzten und größten PS3 Games, Videos, PlayStation und PlayStation Network News, sowie Releases. Außerdem werden die kürzlich gespielte Spiele in einem neuen belebten Format angezeigt.

Status Indikator

Dem Status Indikator wird eine Statusbar hinzugefügt, die euer User Icon, die Freundes Icons, die Anzahl eurer Freunde und ein Message Icon angezeigt. Das Message Icon zeigt euch an, wie viele neue Nachrichten ihr habt. Die Statusbar hat außerdem ein Scrolling Ticker der euch die neuesten PlayStation Network News anzeigt. Weiterhin wird die Batterie Anzeige beim der drücken der PlayStation Taste nicht mehr verdeckt.

Freundes Listen

Die Freundeslisten erhalten ein kleines Lifting und Nachrichten werden jetzt vom jeweiligen Profil eurer Freunde zu sehen sein.

Personalisierung

Die PlayStation 3 lässt sich nun mit neuen dynamischen Themes und Avataren gestalten. Dynamische Themes werden kostenlos und als Premium Themes im PlayStation Store angeboten.

Trophies

Die Firmware 3.0 gibt Entwicklern nun die Möglichkeit die Trophies zu modifizieren und z.B. die von Zusatz Contents ersichtlicher zu machen. Dazu wird die Liste in Basis und Erweiterungstrophäen gesplittet, um zu sehen wo man im ganzen Spiel steht. Auch die Prozentanzeige der Trophies lässt sich so dann trennen.

Die Hüllen um die Karte hätten echt nicht sein müssen, nachher stehn sie leer im Regal rum und Stauben zu.
Naja falls mal eine wo ein Spiel drin ist kaputt geht kann man sie dann austauschen.
