Ich habe mir kürzlich extra für Gran Turismo ein Pad im Stil des 360-Äquivalents gekauft, damit ich auch an der Kiste mit den Triggern vernünftig Gas geben und bremsen kann. Das klappt leider nur im Prinzip gut.

Liegt es jetzt an dem Pad oder an der PS3, dass auf der R2-und L2-Taste gefühlt nur drei Zustände existieren? Mit einem Hecktriebler lässt sich so jedenfalls nicht vernünftig aus einer Kurve herausbeschleunigen. Kein Gas, Halbgas oder Vollgas scheinen die einzig möglichen Zustände zu sein.

Anderes Pad kaufen oder doch wieder mit dem rechten Stick beschleunigen/bremsen?

Würde eher auf Stick tippen. Schätze dass das Spiel nur Zustände und "Pedal" kennt, außer du schließt ein Lenkrad samt Pedalen an, die ihre eigenen Treiber haben. Wobei...müsste es dann nicht auch mit "Treibern" bei einem Pad gehen? Vorausgesetzt, ein Pad kann solche Treiber haben bzw. der Hersteller baut sowas ein.

So klingt das eher nach "Billigpad", und gut möglich, es gibt nichts besseres und du musst dafür zu Lenkrad greifen. Für optimale Kontrolle.
Oder, wenn du schon so reich für mehrere Pads bist, informier dich ob es Hersteller gibt, die solche Pads im Angebot haben oder einfach nur die Taste auf den Trigger verlegen.

Da ich mir neben einem Lenkrad auch noch irgendwas kaufen müsste an dem ich ein Driving Force GT oder ähnliches anschrauben könnte, wird das wohl eher nicht passieren. Das halte selbst ich für ein wenig too much.

Ich werde das Pad demnächst mal an meinem PC anschließen. Dann kann ich wenigstens abschätzen, ob's am Poti in dem Gerät oder grundsätzlich an den Triggertasten der PS3 liegt. Das Originalpad hat ja leider so kurze Wege, dass man das über einen Vergleich an der PS3 nicht verifizieren kann.

Lieder wurden erraten, andere nicht. Es ist ok alle 2-3 Jahre eine neue Konsole rauszubringen, daran ist nichts verwerfliches. Du hast als einzig Einzigster sämtliche Tipps verhauen.
