You're right, English is very easy to learn, although I didn't realize this, when I was in school. An interesting fact concerning the english language is, that english has more words than german, but you need less to speak it well.
PS: Fuck is such a great word. It can be used in so many different circumsances with so many different meanings. Too bad, that we haven't anything like this in german.

There was a time, when my english was certainly better than now, but when you take a break from a language for ~10 years, you just forget half of your vocabulary, as well as the grammar.
Damn, i also want to speak english as good as you do.
What did you do, that you are capable of speaking this language so well?
I'll that as a compliment
But that's how you do it:
Learn. Listen. Think. Repeat. Repeat again. Repeat it all over again. And again. And again. Type the language, write the language, speak the language. Repeat. Again and again.
And most importantly, never stop asking questions, or lose motivation.

I think the main reason for English being rather easy to learn is, that we're always surrounded by English media. I learned a lot of English through movies, videogames and, most important, song lyrics. These were probably more helpful for me then the English lessons in school.
Oh, and of course the internet! Is it actually possible to survive in the web without knowing any English?

If you want to learn something, do it right. If he makes mistakes I'll correct him. That up there was clearly a mistake, since you shouldn't rely on people 'getting' your sentence anyway.
I don't wanna sound cocky, I just want him to learn it the right way
You didn't sound cocky to me, don't worry. Your thought behind that is absolutely correct and good. I just want to give Hydro as much time as he need. Without good basics the later lessons are a waste of time.
One of my best english teacher always said: "Never learn from english pop songs!"
The main reason why english is so simple, can be found within the grammar. The english grammar ist extremly easy to learn and to use. Also you don't have to care much about genders, like in german, where you have strange things like: DAS Auto and DER Wagen.
My grandma lives in canada. I´m considering to visit her in autumn or winter this year for two weeks.
I could imagine, that this is the best oppinion to work at my english. I think, when you (ausschließlich) use this language every day over two weeks, it is better than every other oppinion, or?

I would imagine, that this is the best opportunity (Chance) to work on my english. I think, when you only use this language every day,for two weeks, it's better than any other way of learning, right?
As long as you know the basics, yes it is. But if you don't, you probably won't even understand one word people are saying. Especially in a land where english is the native language.. people.. talk fast there. At least most of them. They expect people to speak english, so they just talk at their normal speed - What could be too fast for you.

Ah super. So hört sich das ganze schon viel besser an.
Ich versuche meine grundlegenden Fehler auszumerzen und mich in diese Sprache nach und nach reinzuarbeiten.
Danke für eure Geduld und eure ständigen Verbesserungen.

Edit: @ Elric

Of course, it's not the best way to learn the basics, but I think songs and movies etc. are a good way to get a feeling of how the language is used in everyday situations.
He meant only songs. He didn't say anything against movies or books. Indeed he was the one who teached me, that it is more effective to read an anglish book without using a dictionary, which is indeed right.
