"Dies wird mit Sicherheit das letzte Zelda sein, wie ihr es kennt", stimmt er auf die Zukunft ein und versichert zum Trost, dass Twilight Princess der beste Teil der Serie werden soll. Vor April 2006 sei mit einem Release allerdings nicht zu rechnen.</P><P>Noch steht ein großes Fragezeichen über dem, was uns mit den Next Gen-Zeldas und -Marios genau erwartet. Einziges Detail: der Klempner bekommt einen neuen Weggefährten verpasst. In a recent keynote/Revolution conference, Satoru Iwata has stated something very interesting that correlates to an earlier statement that Twilight Princess will be the last Zelda "in its present form." This has caused much discussion among the Zelda community, ranging from DS theories to fans exploding and claiming that Zelda is lost forever. However, this now seems not to be so.

The future of Zelda may rest in the Revolution's hands. "As we know it," may have referred to gameplay.

Perhaps TP will be the last Zelda as we know it in its present form due to the new controller.

It seems that it may be set that there will be a Zelda for the Revolution, though we're not jumping the gun just yet. This quote, however, does show that Nintendo might have something up their sleeves regarding Zelda, and changing the way we currently know it.
