ARK Server Update Issues

Is anyone else having a hard time getting ARK server to update in a timely manner? Ark has updates so often that it would be nice to have the option for restarting the server up to 4 times a day so that when I get home from work I don't have to spend 2 hours doing a server restart. Today I got home, updated my server, ate dinner and there was another server update. I have been trying to play for 2 hours now and the server is still restarting.

How come you're both posting in English on a board that is essentially German, languagewise, while appearing to be connected to the web from a location in Germany?

The amount of time it takes to do a server restart is insane. I thought it might go faster if I stopped the server first today...nope, it took 20 minutes just to shut down, now im 15 minutes into the restart. It runs so good when it is running but damn it takes forever to get going. I haven't gotten to play on my server for 2 days now.
