Vor zehn Jahren hätte es wohl kaum jemand für möglich gehalten, dass zu Nier je eine Neuauflage, geschweige denn ein Nachfolger erscheinen würde. Immerhin entpuppte sich das Original nicht gerade als Straßenfeger. Doch von denen, die es gespielt hatten, schlossen viele das ungewöhnliche Abenteuer ins Herz, denn seine Geschichte, ihre Charaktere und die wundervolle Musik sind bis heute einzigartig....

oh oh ...
Ich will ja jetzt nicht den Untergang des Abendlandes beschwören, aber dieser Artikel liest sich nach einem der Gründe, warum ich nicht mehr auf Gamestar unterwegs bin.

Ach, ja... Große Vorschau haben wir ja schon, Test kommt sowieso, und vor allem als Video ist so ein Überblick für Manche tatsächlich ganz praktisch.

Fand das Video auch interessant. Möchte das Spiel auf jeden Fall noch spielen, sieht sehr cool aus. Kenne weder das Original noch den zweiten Teil.

Sagt mal, ist es besser Replicant vor Automata zu spielen? (Habe beides nicht gespielt) Ich mein, es ist ja der Vorgänger, aber manchmal ist dies ja auch wurscht.

Ist meines Erachtens egal. Im Zweifelsfall Automata, Replicant und dann nochmal Automata.
(Automata kann man eh locker 1x jährlich durchspielen)

Nier: Automata.
Es gibt ein paar Referenzen, die emotional auf einen wirken können, wenn man Spielwelt und Charaktere sehr ins Herz geschlossen hat. Das Stirnrunzeln wird hier und da auch etwas weniger.
Aber selbst wenn man alle Spiele durchgespielt hat, kommt man ohne ein Wiki und die 10.000 Jahre überspannende Timeline kaum klar, wenn man alle Zusammenhänge wissen will. Muss man aber nicht.
P.S. um die Verbindung zwischen Drakengard und Nier zu erleben muss man den wohl beschissensten Endboss aller Zeiten erledigen. Ich war eine Woche damit beschäftigt ein Rhythmus-Spiel zu meistern... und dabei behalf ich mich schon mit einem parallel laufenden YouTube-Video, das zeigte, wann man drücken muss. Abartigst.

Replicant vorbestellen und bis zum freitag automata zocken.. wirst dich eh nicht davon lösen können... glory to mankind!!

Habe Automata einmal durchgespielt und fand es bis zu dem Zeitpunkt wirklich gut. Dann nochmal begonnen als 9S. Soweit gespielt bis sich einige Dialoge aus dem 1. Durchgang wiederholt haben. Die Motivation war dann ziemlich schnell vollständig verschwunden. Habe vermutlich etwas verpasst, doch das war mir einfach zu viel Recycling auf einmal. Ich persönlich hoffe schwer, dass Replicant ein anderes Konzept vorweisen wird. Will wenigstens einmal im Leben ein Rollenspiel vollständig beenden.

Ja, der 9S-Part ist der schwächste Teil des Spiels, weil man den ersten Durchgang eben nur aus einer anderen Perspektive nochmal durchspielt. Je weiter man da aber kommt, desto mehr verändert sich (2B und 9S werden ja auch oft mal getrennt o.ä.) Danach geht es aber noch für 3 weitere Enden weiter, also literally weiter.

Ohne es böse zu meinen, aber das ist fatal. Automata kann man nur einmal wirklich durchspielen. Nach der 2B Kampagne kommt nur ein Zwischenabspann. Ja, der 9S-Teil ist am Anfang (logischerweise) ähnlich, da die beiden ja zusammen unterwegs sind. Aber danach... danach explodiert das ganze Spiel richtig übel. Für mich immernoch ein absolutes Highlight der Spielgeschichte (und ich spiele auch schon etwas länger
). Und wenn ich nur an den Abspann denke, bekomme ich eine Gänsehaut.
